Please read these terms before booking lessons or a course. Version 1.0, last updated 26 October 2026.

Version 1.0 · Last updated 26 October 2026

Items marked “Needs your confirmation” contain a business decision only the owner can set (notice periods, charges and timescales). Please confirm or amend these before relying on them.

1. Introduction and acceptance of these terms

These terms and conditions apply to driving lessons, intensive courses and any other tuition provided by Fast Track Driver Training (“we”, “us”, “our”) to you (“the pupil”, “you”).

By booking a lesson or course — whether through this website, by phone, by WhatsApp or in person — you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms.

If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should read these terms with you and agree to them on your behalf.

These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

2. Driving lesson bookings and scheduling

Lessons are booked in advance through our website, by phone or by WhatsApp. A booking is confirmed once we have accepted it and, where a payment is required, once that payment has been received.

Lesson times are offered subject to instructor and vehicle availability. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred days and times.

Standard lessons are booked in the durations and packages shown on our website. Where a package covers a set number of hours, those hours are used for lessons and are not transferable to another person.

Please tell us about any medical condition, disability or learning need that may affect your lessons so we can plan appropriate tuition.

3. Lesson fees, course prices and payment methods

Prices for lessons and courses are those shown on our website at the time of booking. Prices may change from time to time, but changes will not affect lessons you have already booked and paid for.

We accept payment by card through our secure online checkout, or in cash directly to your instructor where that option is offered at checkout.

Where a package is paid in instalments, the outstanding balance shown on your booking is payable before or at the start of the lessons it covers.

Block-booked hours are valid for the period stated on our website or in your booking confirmation.

Needs your confirmation: Confirm how instalments and balances are handled, how long block-booked hours remain valid, and whether a deposit is required.

4. Cancellation and rescheduling policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please give us at least 48 hours’ notice. You can do this by phone or WhatsApp.

Where at least 48 hours’ notice is given, the lesson can be rearranged at no extra cost and any hours you have already paid for stay on your account.

Where less than 48 hours’ notice is given, the lesson may be charged in full, because the time was reserved for you and cannot usually be offered to another pupil at short notice.

If we have to cancel or rearrange your lesson, we will give you as much notice as we reasonably can and offer you an alternative appointment or a credit for the lesson.

Needs your confirmation: Confirm that 48 hours is the notice period you want and whether a late cancellation is charged in full.

5. Late cancellations and missed lessons

If you are not ready and available at the agreed time, the lesson may be treated as a missed lesson and charged for.

We will wait a short reasonable period if you are running late, but the lesson will still finish at the arranged time so the next pupil is not delayed.

Repeated missed lessons or late cancellations may mean we are unable to keep your regular slot open.

Needs your confirmation: Confirm how long the instructor waits for a late pupil and how a missed lesson is charged.

6. Intensive driving courses and what is included

Intensive and fast-track courses include the number of tuition hours and any test-related planning shown on the course description on our website.

Course prices cover tuition only unless the description says otherwise, and do not include the DVSA practical test fee unless we explicitly state that it is included.

Intensive courses are planned around a target test date. Dates and availability depend on the DVSA test booking service and cannot be guaranteed by us.

Before an intensive course starts, we may ask you to complete an assessment lesson so the course is planned around your current driving standard.

7. Driving test bookings, test fees and use of the instructor’s vehicle

Practical test appointments are booked with the DVSA. The test fee is set by the DVSA and is payable by you unless your course description says it is included.

Where we book a test on your behalf, we will agree the date, time and centre with you first.

Use of the instructor’s vehicle for your test is provided on the basis that your instructor considers you ready for the test. This is for your safety and for the safety of other road users.

If you are not considered ready, we will explain why and discuss what still needs to improve. We may ask you to move the test date to give you more preparation time.

You are responsible for bringing your valid provisional or full driving licence, and for meeting the DVSA’s requirements for taking a test.

Needs your confirmation: Confirm whether the DVSA test fee is included in any course and how you handle test fees when we book on the pupil’s behalf.

8. Student responsibilities

You must hold a valid provisional or full UK driving licence for the category of vehicle you are learning in, and be legally entitled to drive on UK roads.

You must bring your licence to every lesson when asked, and tell us immediately if your licence is revoked, expired or restricted in any way.

You must be fit to drive: not under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any medication that affects your ability to drive safely.

You must wear suitable footwear and any glasses or contact lenses you need in order to meet the eyesight requirements for driving.

You must tell us about any change in your health or medication that could affect your driving.

9. Punctuality and appropriate behaviour

Please be ready at the agreed pick-up point at the start of your lesson. The lesson time includes the pick-up and any travel needed to reach a suitable practice area.

We expect all pupils to treat the instructor, the vehicle and other road users with courtesy and respect.

We do not tolerate abusive, threatening, discriminatory or unsafe behaviour. In such cases we may end the lesson immediately and may decline to provide further tuition.

Smoking, vaping and eating are not permitted in the tuition vehicle. Mobile phones should be switched off or on silent during lessons.

10. Instructor responsibilities and professional standards

Our instructors are approved driving instructors (ADI) or trainee instructors working within the DVSA’s rules for their grade, and hold a current DBS check.

Instructors will plan tuition around the DVSA’s national standard for driving, keep a record of your progress, and give you clear feedback so you know what to work on next.

Instructors will treat you with respect and will not discriminate on the basis of age, disability, gender, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation.

Lessons are delivered in a roadworthy, insured, taxed and MOT-compliant vehicle fitted with dual controls.

11. No guarantee of passing a driving test

We cannot guarantee that you will pass your theory or practical driving test. Test outcomes are decided solely by the DVSA examiner on the day.

We do promise to prepare you properly and to give you honest advice about when you are ready for your test.

12. Refunds, course changes and exceptional circumstances

If you cancel a course before any lessons have taken place, we will refund the unused part of your payment, less any tuition already delivered and any reasonable costs we have already incurred such as a test booked on your behalf.

Once a course has started, refunds are calculated on the hours not yet taken at the hourly rate for the package you booked.

You may transfer the balance of unused paid hours to a different package or transmission, subject to availability and any difference in price.

Exceptional circumstances such as illness, injury, bereavement or an emergency are considered individually and sympathetically.

Where you have bought a course online and no lesson has yet taken place, you have the right to cancel and receive a refund in line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Needs your confirmation: Confirm your refund timescale (for example refunds processed within 14 days) and whether any administration fee applies.

13. Privacy and personal data

We collect and use the personal information you give us — such as your name, contact details, address and driving history — to arrange lessons, plan your tuition, take payment and keep you informed about your bookings.

Your details are stored securely and are only shared where necessary to deliver your lessons, take payment, or meet our legal obligations.

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need it.

Our Privacy Policy sets out in full what we collect, why we collect it, the cookies we use and your rights. Cookies that are not essential are only used once you have accepted them.

14. Complaints and dispute resolution

If you are unhappy with any part of the service, please tell your instructor, or contact us directly by phone or WhatsApp as soon as possible so we can put things right.

We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to resolve it promptly and fairly.

If we cannot resolve the matter between us, we will discuss with you what other options are available, which may include independent advice or dispute resolution.

Nothing in these terms prevents you from seeking advice from Citizens Advice or another consumer advice service.

Needs your confirmation: Confirm how quickly you will acknowledge and resolve complaints (for example acknowledged within 2 working days, resolved within 10).

15. Contact details and changes to these terms

You can contact us by phone on 07789 761148 or by WhatsApp. Our business address is 5 Beretun, Two Mile Ash, Milton Keynes MK8 8JT.

We may update these terms from time to time, for example if prices, our policy or the law changes. The current version is always published on our website and shows the date it was last updated.

If we make a significant change, we will show a notice in the pupil portal and ask you to review and accept the updated terms before your next lesson.

Lessons you have already booked and paid for remain subject to the terms that applied when you booked them.

Ready to book?

You will be asked to agree to these terms when you confirm your booking. Pupils using the portal accept them when they sign in. If anything is unclear, call us before you book.
